Upcoming Cover Reveal for Bittersweet Catastrophe!

I just wanted to make a quick post about the upcoming cover reveal for Bittersweet Catastrophe (Second Chances #2.5). This novella will be from Shayne's POV (since so many of you asked for more Shayne) and I am so excited to have the cover made. Robin from Wicked By Design made the covers for Relinquishing Liberty and Unforeseen Heartbeat, and she blows me away every time!

The cover reveal is set for Friday, May 30th and will be hosted by Momma's Secret Book Obsession. But this time around I am planning something a little different. There will be two separate signups for this cover reveal: one for blogs and one for fans! I thought this would be a fun way to have readers participate and there will also be a chance for them to win an ARC copy of Bittersweet Catastrophe as a thank you for participating!

Please make sure you signup using the correct doc:

Also, don't forget that Teaser Tuesdays will start up again in May!

Review of Covered In Coal by Silla Webb

Title: Covered in Coal (Buried Secrets #1)
Release Day: March 17, 2014
Genre: Contemporary Romance/Suspense

Carly Jo Simon believed that Colton Weston was her future, but he shattered her heart into tiny pieces. Just like any little girl would, she assumed her daddy would always be by her side. Unbelievably, he turned his back on her when she needed him most, leaving her with no one in her life to turn to for support.

Without options, Carly runs away from the only home she's ever known, leaving behind her heartache and the betrayal of the two men she loved most.

Seven years later, Carly reluctantly returns to Kentucky. Her daddy is dying of cancer and Colton is nothing like the boy she once loved and left. After her daddy passes, Carly must uproot her life in South Carolina and take control of Simon Coal Company, where she has no choice but face the pain of her past.

Can Carly keep her secrets buried deep beneath the black Kentucky coal and her heart safe from the fiery Colton Weston?

Silla Webb is a Kentucky native, raised in the heart of the coal fields. A coal truck driver's daughter, and a railroader's wife, the coal fields own a special place in her heart.

She is a work at home, Super Momma to three rowdy boys, who keep her on her feet from daylight to sunset. As a pass time from her everyday life, Silla started a blog-Momma's Secret Book Obsession, for reviewing romance novels. From there, she realized that not only did she have a natural love for reading and reviewing, but she found that lost love of writing that she once had as a young girl.
When she isn't conquering the world as a wife, momma and Super Woman, Silla loves to lay on the front porch swing and read while sipping sweet tea, just passin' the day away.

MY REVIEW:

It's very seldom that I am blown away by an author's debut novel, but after beta reading Covered in Coal, I can honestly say that Silla Webb is a true artist with her words and the emotions she depicts through her characters. This story was beautifully written, and I didn't want to put it down for a single second.

Carly Jo Simon is thrown through the wringer when Colton, her boyfriend of three years, ends their relationship without any warning. Carly is left devastated by the unexpected blow, but the icing on the cake comes the next day when she discovers she is pregnant with his child. At seventeen, this would be a lot for any young woman to take on, but when her father, the man she has looked up to her whole life, is less than understanding and refuses to support her in any way, she finds herself running away from home to start over on her own with a baby on the way.

Seven years have passed, giving Carly time to grow and mature into a more independent woman. She returns home to say her goodbyes to her ailing father and make amends, only to find that he has made her CEO of his coal mining company. With that comes the reappearance of the boy she once loved. Now Colton is all man and cocky as ever, but deep down he is dealing with his own inner demons. The closer they become, the more their secrets are revealed, but is the love they share strong enough to hold them together? I'll leave that for you to discover!

I highly recommend this steamy and suspenseful romance novel, and the ending will have you clinging to the edge of your seat!
